PLR and MMR – What does that actually mean?

PLR – that stand for Private Label Rights – and this is products that you can turn into your own. Brand them with YOUR name and YOUR info. Sell them for 100 % profit. Some can also be used to give away for free to generate traffic and subscribers.

MMR – This means Master Resale Rights – Products you can sell for 100 % commission.
A bit more restricted in the way you can use or brand them – but some can even be given away for free.

Both PLR and MMR is a good way to start out before you make your own unique products. You would me surprised to know how many of the so called high profile “Gurus” out there use the same PLR and MMR products in their own promotions.

Work at Home – How to Choose a Home Based Business

Increasingly people work out of their home to supplement their income every single day. Home based businesses offer a level freedom and flexibility unmatched by traditional means. This is a $430 Billion a year industry, that’s more than the consumer industry, food industry and the pharmaceutical industry combined. By the time you finish reading this sentence someone new would have entered into a Home Based Business venture.

Don’t buy into the hype, you will fail unless you go into this with a concise plan of action, the right mindset and start making the smart decisions from beginning. You’ve all heard of doing it right the first time. This begins with picking a work at home job or home based business opportunity that fits you, not the one claiming to make the most money in the shortest period of time. I would know, I’ve been down that road.

To start you out in the right direction here are a few work at home offers to avoid. Beware of paid survey and data entry scams. These seem to be all the rage these days. They promise an easy buck of course, but the facts are that very few people make any money filling out surveys and those that do make money make very little.

Here’s how paid surveys work in a nut shell. You are paying for a list of companies who supposedly would pay you $1-$15 for filling out surveys which are sent to you by email. The companies on these lists are just as easily found by doing a search engine query yourself. You now have to sign up with each individual company on the list which does take a lot of time. Each company wants in-depth demographic data about you and your household under the guise of only sending you surveys you qualify for. You start receiving surveys almost instantly, though not all have an offer of cash most are points for various sweepstakes. The surveys that do offer cash initially would more than often enough claim that you did not quality for the cash after you filled out the survey and may then offer you points towards prizes and such.

Just about now you would be wondering why you had to fill out the demographic data if they were not going to send you qualified surveys. That question would soon be answered when your telephone starts ringing off the hook with sales calls conveniently geared towards you and your lifestyle, along with your junk mail intake going through the roof.

Another heavily promoted scam is data entry jobs. The technique itself is not the scam but more the language used to promote it. These are promoted as get rich by doing simple data entry; this is far from the truth. These Data Entry Jobs are simply affiliate programs, you are told to write ads promoting various products and services in hopes of getting a commission from any possible sales. This has gotten so bad that Google among other payment providers have been actively canceling owners and promoters of so called “data entry jobs” from their system.

Just hit yet another bump in the road..

Another Panda update leaves many with sites without ranking – and without visitors.
And since these vital visitors is the lifeblood for any online business – many are seeing a real hard time.

Most just keep on trying what worked last year – without any result – their sites remain hidden way down in the listings – with no visitors. Actually – doing the wrong things might even hurt more then it helps.

It has been a MAJOR SHIFT in online marketing. What Google started – the others are folowing up on – making a dramatic impact for many. There is only one way out of this mess – to adapt – to follow what’s told us – to do what’s needed. And by that I don’t mean finding ways to “trick” the serarch engines and other traffic sources – but to give them what they want. You just need to play by their rules.

Daily I receive reports on drop in rankings, less traffic, less sales – and more refunds requested. But just think of it – by only doing AF – and promoting every new shiny object released – you become the victim of more and more hyped up products of lesser quality. And for those with a list of their own – this also causes higher numbers of opt outs from the list.

The end result is devastating for many that for some time have relied on the income from what they hoped would last forever. Well – we have been addressing this shift for 12 months now – so most should be aware of changes comming. Unfortunatly, we are ony seeing the beginning of whats to come – changes will continue troughout this year. This makes it hard for ALL of us to keep up.

The good part is that this changes also may be to the better – for all those running a legit online business – but for the worse for all those hyping and scamming us – just out for a quick profit.
So in order to survive – we need to adapt – we need to change the way we promote and market – we need to revitalize the way we are conducting business. And that’s where we find the biggest challenge…

HOW are we going to adapt? What do we need to do to stay ahead in this game? What is the solution?

As I mentioned above – we need to play by their rules – and I mean the rules of Google, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Amazon, Yahoo and EVERY other major player that we want to use for generating traffic and sales. And as those “rules” are not in concrete yet – it will be a slow process. The worst thing we can do is rush in and continue with the usual SE spamming that has been going on.

Our take on getting web properties indexed, ranked and positioned to receive stable traffic….

We play by the rules. Having a  well designed plan – that is scalable and adaptable as the foundation.
By bringing ALL the above mentioned major players into the equation and set up properly – interconnecting – THE RIGHT WAY. Every piece of this puzzle telling the “same story” – building and branding our company at the same time. And we can not rush this – we need to provide quality – good content and good product’s.

I’m sure you can see that I’m not describing any quick fix – because I don’t believe that there is a quick fix at the moment. Sure, there are things that can be done to almost instantly get a good ranking – but I do not believe in rushing into this. As this shift we are experiencing focus more on social and local – we also need to do that – but the right way.

Many of the questions I receive is ragarding short term income from work at home jobes and homebased business – “I need money today” may well sum up many of the hartbreaking emails i receive.
My best answer is to get a day job – to supply any online income – and use more time to rebuild your online presence.

First thing to understand… Social media – and social media networks will be a key factor in the future.
Using social media will also have to be used as intended – as a social platform communicating with others – ON A SOSIAL LEVEL!
What we have seen until now – is using all kinds of tricks to build a following – just to spam and sell the hell out of them. That won’t work in the future. You will just get kicked out – and maybe even baned.

So You will need a plan for ALL your business – and brand it and build a following around it. You might even need several to cover the ares you are marketing in. Social connection and solutions to what people need and wants – not hard selling everything.

Local appearance is the next key factor. So if you live in Boston – it can be easy to get ranked and traffic – IF – you are a local store or business – but what if you live elsewhere and and are doing global marketing?
Well that’s possible to – but local and global are two different things. But you will still have to use a local presence in your overall plan. And yes, we have find ways on how we can do that. This is a more “members only” revealed subject.

What we have found to be the key parts that people struggle with in order to make a consistent income from a work at home job or a home based business is outlined in more detail here.
Just some key points:
The need of doing a consistent amount of sales – on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
This is how it used to be. Driving traffic to make as many sales as possible – hoping for a low number of refunds and charge backs.
With monthly recurring products – hoping that as many as possible continued the membership.

My take on this was to look at this from outside the box. What would the opposite to this be…
Making a consistent income from as few sales as possible – where members stayed on as members – without the worry of paying any monthly fee. This combined with good quality products that everyone wants.

Some called me crazy to even think that way – but they turned when I could show them a working setup
where only 5 – less than $100 sales where needed to build a long term income. And when they also realized that this was just a small part of implementing a long term strategy that would help very member to get their own business going aging – the wording changed from crazy to amazing.

I must admit – it was a big job to get this in place – but the major benefits for both me and my members made it well worth it. Everyone can make 5 sales of something like this – and this can give everyone the time and income needed to implement whatever changes needed to set up for the future.

And that is what this membership is all about – the future. The future of Internet marketing, work at home jobs and online business – it’s about how we are going to make money in 2012 – and beyond.
A membership like this where everyone has the same goal – and receives the same benefits – have a much higher chance to do well in a changing market.

We will have a common social presence – and also a individual presence. The same goes for both local and global presence and branding. It gives us a unique way to really test out new ways to stay ahead in this business.
To give an example – by using “tools” to control and split test ads and promotions on a huge amount of web properties – from one central interface – we can get results much quicker. Rinse and repeat – made easy.

And when every partisipating member get automatically updated with what we find to convert best – members can also use these result outside our comunity in their own marketing of their own products.
My main plan is to have around 1000 members that uses these “tools” on their web properties. With a full setup – this consist of around a minimum of 5 million “access points” across Internet – all optimized for maximum ranking – all focusing on the same branding and niche/search term.

At the end of the day this will be a presence of proportions that ALL of the included “major players” will notice – and rank – and send the traffic needed. And the only thing we do … is to follow their rules – and give them what they ask for.

So as the “major players” change their rules – so must we. This will be an ongoing process troughout 2012 – so we need a stable solution like this to give us the research we need, the income we need and time to do it.
This solution can be in place for a new member with very little effort – compared to the potential. And once set up it requires little time to keep it going.

Results so far indicates that we are reading all signs the right way – we do get sites ranked – we do receive traffic – and we do convert that traffic to sales – meaning new members. And new members also means increasing the online presence and generate even more traffic and sales. I will keep you posted as we move along.

This was going to be a brief update – but ended up in a lot more….
My key point is….. There is a major shift going on – each and everyone of us will be affected – the only solutions is to adapt to these changes.

Now finding the best and legit work at home jobs that also brings you the best possible income from the work you do from home – can be a challenge. There are just too much both hype and plain scams around, so watch out.

I you just start out right – the rest will be so much more easy. So do your DD – and spend some time doing it would be my best advice.
Study some of the offers you find interesting very careful before taking that leap and part with your money.
Part with your money? – Yes, unfortunately most of the work at home jobs offered will cost you some money to get started!
Just be sure that those funds are well spent. The same with your time invested – be sure that whatever time invested – give you a good return.

How to choose YOUR work at home jobs?

It’s hard to give any directions since I don’t know where you are coming from, your level of skills, your interest and actually – your mindset. Your mindset is the most important factor here! It maybe sounds strange, but it’s actually easier for a person new to work at home jobs and without any previous experience or related skills to find success and make an income from – if that person has the right mindset – than it is for a person with related skills or experience – if his mindset is weak.

The main reason for failing is lack of focus!
I know, information overflow may be involved here to – or should I rather say misinformation overflow.
Way too many of the work at home jobs offered have a way to step learning curve. There is just to much needed to be done in too little time. I have heard that from many of my students that where about to give up when they joined my programs. Some of them had tried almost everything out there with little or no success.

So I had to make them forget whatever they had “learned” previous to make them able to start the right way.
With the right way I just mean the easiest way possible to start with  work at home jobs and actually make some money from it.
Learn while you earn is a good way to start. One DOES NOT have to learn every skill there is to start making an income from whatever work at home jobs one starts with.

This is also why I have started several easy ways for even total newbies to Internet marketing , to achieve the two – in my opinion – most important parts of learning how to make money from home.

1: To learn the needed skills to start making an income at the level you are at when you start.
2: Start making some money while learning.

Whit those two in place learning what’s needed to advance seems so much easier. I think most will agree with me that even the most boring and tedious tasks may seem more fun – if one makes good money doing it.

As an example – my latest program actually set in place for my friend Steve – The-Challenge – Are based on that very same principles… Earn while you learn how to make an income from work at home jobs. This is as simple as it gets to start out with.

I see this offers every single day – maybe several daily – that are only smoke and mirrors. They are ONLY out to get your hard earned money. It has just become too easy for whoever to set up a simple money snatcher with Clickbank and similar affiliate setups.
The very same people are behind many of them – launch after launch with no substance, no real product – and no support.
Misinformation is a vital part of their plan – because – they don’t want you to know – and they don’t want your competition.

So do your DD and make an informed decision before you jump into something.

The above is from an email I received one day – and I do receive some emails like this.
From people struggling to get ends to meet. No job, no income, little food and about to get desperate.

But fortunately there are ways to get around that – like with work at home jobs. And that’s what Tina is doing now.
Sent her a reply to the email with some easy to follow first step first instructions on how to get set up and started with her own work at home job.

That’s three weeks ago – and guess what? – Tina has been able to get her first earnings working from home – doing her work at home job.
Or should I say… “mom working at home job”

In a way she has “cracked the code” that way to many are struggling with at first.
She just followed the easy laid out instructions I gave her. This is all about mindset – its about having a plan – and following that plan.

I see way to many loose focus, trying to cut corners or not doing anything at all.
I like to say that “failing to plan” – is “planning to fail” – in a work at home job situation you need to have a plan. Period!

So in Tina’s case – I made her a simple blueprint with step by step instructions on what to do – and how to do it.

The work at home job blueprint I made for Tina included the following:

• A step by step worksheet she could follow – and mark as done for each step
• Clear instructions for each step – with links to resources if needed.
• Detailed descriptions for each of steps to make her understand why she was doing it – and the importance of it.

Tina’s work at home job worksheet locked something like this:

1. Go to Gmail and set up a new email account for your work at home job. Use this email for the rest of the steps.
2. Go to word press.com and set up your work at home job blog – use a title like we agreed earlier.
3. Go to blogger and do the same – use same title as with word press.
4. Go to Google+ and set up an account the same way
5. Go to face book and set up a NEW profile for your work at home job – profile name like we picked earlyer.
6. Go to Twitter and set up your work from home job account.
7. Go to LinkedIn and set up a profile.
8. Follow the links in my last email and set up the two accounts listed.
9. Go over each step of this list and check that it’s done – and that you have filled in all account details in the form I gave you.
10. WELL DONE – You can take the rest of the day of – you have earned it! At this point have have set the important fundation of your work at home job!

OK, Tina was not the kind of girl that wanted to rest when she first started to move. Four hours after she received the blueprint from me – she was on Skype asking what to do next. This show exactly how “the right way” to start with your new work at home job.

Many others have something to learn from this – I would say around 85% of those trying to make money doing a work at home job have something to learn from Tina here. Tina was already way ahead of most others – already 4 hours into her new work at home job.

Work at home jobs have a failure rate at around 85% – sad fact. Solution? Have a clear work at home job plan – and follow that plan.
So in this case I had to email Tina some instructions on how to configure her new WP blog. Step by step this one to. And then some material to use for ideas to her first postings on that blog.

This included how to write five articles to use for her first postings. She also had e new – and rather large ping list to ad to that blog.
Normally this would accupy a new student for about a week….. Next morning she was on Skype again asking “What’s next?”

I had a look at the blog – and everything looked… kinda nice – clean layout and five well formatted articles – all around 600 words with a good readability. Job well done Tina! So I gave her some instructions for the Blogger blog and left her to it.
Later the same evening she was on Skype again asking “What’s next?”

I just had to tell to take a rest, but she insisted – so I had to get her going with her Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn profile as well.
To be sure that she could work all night if she wanted to – I just added a setup for YouTube as well.

Fast forwarding a bit, I was impressed on how Tina had taken on this – to her all new work at home job concept.
After a small week, she had finished her task list – and a great deal more. Her work at home job foundation was all set up – and working!
Her site was indexed in Google, and both her blogs had some viewers and some comments. Her FaceBook profile had 27 likes and Tina was happy as a child.

Her main question now was when she could strt making money from it. She did not like it when I told her that we needed to wait until her sites had “matured” a bit. This is the hardest part for many to understand – that it is NOT wise to start filling the sites with affiliate links at once.
6 to 8 weeks is needed if you want your site to rank well – and stay ranked well. And Tina understood this eventually – she wanted to build her work at home job for the long term. In the following weeks she wrote more articles, posted some on the site and submittedsome to article directories elswere. She did postings on her FaceBook profile and on the two Facebook pages she had set up. Some postings to Google + and Twitter was also done.

The way I had made her set this up – it was all tied together so that posting done one one of them – also showed up like magic on the others. So far this whole setup had not cost her a cent – all where free resourses and she had already traffic to her sites and profiles.
After her “8 week maturing time” we started to monetize everything. Just a simple add for a free report at first – and some sales pitch in this free report. Doing it this way we avoided ANY affiliate link on her sites.

One morning she was at Skape all in flames – she had made her first sales from her work at home job. I think it was $32 from three sales – but to her it was like heaven. Later the same week her earnings had past $200 – all paid directly into her PayPal account.
Asking her if she wanted to expand her work at home job with her own domain and hosting – investing half of the earning was out of the question. She wanted to put everything – $200 into her new home based business – her work at home job that she had started to really love.

So we did some keyword research and picked a domain and a hosting account. I gave her a WP clone that I used as a basis for new sites – with the needed plug ins, bells and whistles needed. She was on it again – setting up her new site, writing articles and everything included. Her first two blogs continued to make sales, a couple of sales daily and around $113 weekly income.

Its now been around four months since her first email to me – and she has several sites up bringing in over $1000 monthly. The cost to run everything is less then $40 monthly – so shes already making some good money from her work at home job.
But the most important part is NOT the money – but the knowledge and experience in setting up and running a work at home job – but actually working from home. She understood from day one that there is no such ting as a free ride – one actually has to work in order to have some success with a work at home job.

So I hope Tina’s storry can inspire others to treat there work at home job as a real business and actually start working from home in order to make some money from home.

Making money from home with a work at home job can be both fun easy and rewarding as long as one do the work needed.
