Glow’s are off – Fighting The Traffic Gorilla!

Glow’s are of – fighting the ugly traffic gorilla. A rather odd way to start an article – but – it’s time – I just can’t deal with it any other way!

Yeah, I hear you – “What on earth is he ranting about here?

The answer is simple – that’s the ONLY way I know of how to – fight a big ugly gorilla!

I think you know the kind of gorilla I’m talking about here – the one that does whatever it wants to everyone – often at random – even when there is no cause at all for this drastic action. No warning – no nothing – the one day ever so thriving sites displaying this monsters ads – not bringing in any return to speak of – but still the gorillas ads prominently displayed on my property.

Oh yeah – he’s on it again, slapping sites left and right – like in a furry – or maybe just for fun – I don’t know anymore. So now it has happened to me as well – and for no reason whatsoever…that I can understand. I’ve told that I’m not alone….. it have happened to maybe thousands…. How are YOU prepared for a bad gorilla?

I noticed it like this…….
One morning reading my email – I noticed one from this bad gorilla – I opened it and did not realize what it was all about – but then – I did realize – and quickly checked on one of my sites…..

It was easy to see – a big empty space – where there had been – gorilla ads.
Ten minutes later I just had to realize that it was the same for all my sites – empty spots…
Gorilla had left the building!

So I read this email again and mentions of terms & conditions – best practice – link farm and….. affiliate links….???????

It was at this point I decided to take of my glows and take on this beast – head on – enough is enough.
Sure I knew ALL about the set of rules, terms, conditions, panda’s and slap’s…. heck – I had been preaching that stuff for years – and tried to follow every bit of it the best I could.
But this was just meaningless.

“We have had an audit of your site and found it to be in violation with our terms and conditions”

What they were talking about here was a brand new site – it contained only main pages – with one, around 2000 word ORIGINAL HAND WRITTEN ARTICLE ON EACH PAGE. I mean – good free content that already was getting some attention. Some social activity from Face Book, Twitter and LinkedIn was all this site consisted off. And of course the mandatory Tos, privacy and about pages like I always put up.  Ok, there was one small ad to occupy a space at the sidebar – but it was not any affiliate link – but one to one of my own sites – not even monetized.

I tried to understand what could be the cause of this action – and I’m not talking about just stopping the ads to this site here – but a total shutdown ON ALL MY SITES! Some that had been up there for 10 years +. Could I have forgotten something here?

Several hours later I had done a complete audit of my own site and found whatsoever none negative points.
To sum up:

• Only original and unique content – 3 articles on three different pages – 2000+ words each.
• No affiliate links
• Comment feeds from Face Book and Twitter was of the “No follow – No Index” kind.
• H1, H2 and H3 headlines.
• Only three keyword terms – one for each page. All around the same topic.
• Around 3% keyword density – no stuffing there.
• Keywords varied from bold, italic and underlined.
• Only one link to another page – one of my own and not monetized.
• One double ad block prominently placed. More as a placeholder for a later video than just for the ads.

And I could go on. I could not find a single ting that should cause a response like this from the gorilla. I mean, they should thank me instead. This site was already building good traffic after the two weeks it had been up.

The odd thing is – the bad gorilla keep on sending me traffic and the site climbs in ranking day by day – no penalty there. This site is most a test site for one of the toughest terms to rank for. Over 5 million in competition – but with an astronomic traffic potential – if one ranked well.

After this short 2 weeks it is ranked at around 400 000, so it is a very good starting point – an climbing at a rate of almost 50 000 DAILY!
So far it has around 2000 bookmarks and is linked to from 61 other sites. People out there must like it – don’t you think?

But I’m used to that and I always start sites this way – by hand – playing by the rules – give the gorilla and other SE’s just what they ask for – no fancy stuff – just good and unique content – all free for everyone. After a while I do write other articles and hand submit them to high ranking and authority sites.

Next up would be Web2 and other more fancy stuff. But I let them grow naturally and stay far away from SE spamming, black hat and that sort of thing. Without fail, this always brings me good rankings and a lot of traffic. Then it will be time to put up some free gifts, reports and the like – and monetize that way.

By doing everything this way every Panda and slap has only given me better rankings and more traffic – So I know it works – actually – works really well!

But now the glows are off – and the bad gorilla is going to get all it wants – and so much off it that it just can’t be ignored. My big plan for next year has been under development for some months now – and it’s time to act.

And that’s why I’m sharing this story with you – I’m going to ask for some help – and I’m going to reward you well for it as well. It could actually be fun doing it to…..

To cut things short, the end goal is to have 50 million “access point” online – by the end of February 2012.

What on earth is “access points” online might be your question now…..

Answer: by using a unique strategy – I intend to have in place that number of places that are directly connected to a main site. All with information and services related to the same niche, topic and set of search terms.

Plain and simple – 50 million places that tell all the SE’s and everyone else that “we are all about xxx” and we are the No 1 source at this subject!

It is going to include EVERY major strategy – following the book to the letter – that is proven to be the best working strategy possible. And the master plan is ready to be put to action full scale. Testing so far has shown some rather amazing results. And it’s NOT done like most out there try to do things – all the property out there will NOT consist of the pushy sales pitch that most use. Not at all!

Instead we are going to offer good content and freebees like reports, tools etc. We are going to brand everything as a rock solid concept. Some of the property will be controlled from one central place in order to split test, rinse and repeat – and monetize in a rock solid way in the end of the funnel.
